Clark was asked if she would consider supporting spending cuts, in order to reduce the massive budget deficit. She replied that the Democrats passed the Inflation Reduction Act which included $1.7 trillion in deficit reduction…yet how many votes came from the Republicans?
In response, Tapper asked, “Those were tax increases, right? Not spending cuts?”
Clark stammered a bit before admitting that Tapper was correct.
"Are you willing to consider any spending cuts?"

The democrats are the party of honesty and civility. Our President made that very clear.
time for Foxnews to catch lying republican’s
all politicians lie, all of them, both sides of the political spectrum. The more you catch them the less they will lie.
Clark never said “The Republicans did not vote for this spending cut plan”.
So what she said was a dumb mistake, not a “lie”.
Joshem, are you going to post an article (with a ridiculous over-the-top headline, of course) about lying about lying?
