NEW YORK (VIN Podcast) — Some people are calling President Trump a ‘coward’ and a ‘chicken’ for refusing to participate in the upcoming GOP debates.

Not true.

Trump is making the correct decision. In fact, it’s a no brainer.

Imagine if the New York Yankees had a HUGE lead in the standings, and they were told that they had the option to play a little league team before the playoffs begin. Or, they could sit out and wait for the World Series.

Would they be cowards for refusing to play?

Trump is former president, and he is CRUSHING every other opponent in the polls by 40-50 points. Including his former VP, and Ron DeSantis, who many consider the only candidate who can beat Trump.

If he decides to debate, he will be on stage with 10 candidates, some of whom require name tags to identify, who will gang up on him, and he will get very little speaking time.

PLUS: Al Sharpton accuses Trump of being a racist because he used a term that rhymes with the N-word. Isn’t that the pot calling the kettle white?

Hunter Biden spent 2 weeks hanging out with his father in the White House, while his plea bargain deal was being finalized. During that time, cocaine was foudn in the White House.

The Biden administration pushed for funding to the Palestinians, despite knowing the money will go to the Hamas terror group.

A group of Native Americans says that the name “Washington Redskins” is NOT racist, and should be restored.

Harvard is telling its students to apply for food stamps–even though it is the wealthiest college in the world, with an endowment of $54 Billion.

Yaakov M is the Charedi Sean Hannity.

His columns have been featured in Newsmax and many other sites. He’s hosted a podcast for 15 years, studied in Kollel 14 years, was a Bais Medrash Rebbi over a decade, and obtained smicha from a top Rosh Yeshiva. He is absolutely a coward for not showing up to the debates. His lead means that he has nothing to lose by showing up. What he CAN accomplish is show voters who don’t want to vote for him why he’s better than other GOP candidates, thereby solidifying the base around him and unifying the party ahead of general elections.
Instead he’s taking the divisive route, and in doing so disrespecting everyone who doesn’t want to vote for him by telling them that they don’t deserve to hear him going head to head against other candidates.

How does Trump being “a former President” make him more special than the others? The only difference between him and the other candidates is that he is currently being protected by the Secret Service. Other than that he is a citizen just like the rest of them.

His being ahead in the polls can only help him in the primaries. He won’t win the general elections. Elections are won by winning over the Independent votes or by “turning” voters from the other party. All Trump has done since November of 2020 is “turn” people away from him. He may have cared about the country in 2016. Now he cares about Donald John Trump.

You debate to tell the public your views and to get votes. The public has heard him for years and he’s ahead. Only thing that can happen at the debate is a question he fumbles, so why would he go. Doesn’t need it and risk outweighs reward.

It’s evident that he fears Chris Christie, the former Federal prosecutor. Trump showed us that he was a coward in late 1960’s when he dodged the Vietnam draft claiming non existent bone spurs which were never treated and never impeded his golfing..

Trump should have a show during the debates, where he’s watching the debates live and commenting on his opponents in real time.

I agree with Trump’s decision, not to attend the so-called debates. First of all, these presentations are not truly debates. Instead of focusing on the issues, and acting in a courteous and respectful manner to each other, all that these debates are noted for, is for the candidates to attack and demean in other. Since Trump is so far ahead in the polls, what possible benefit is there for him to show up, and be humiliated and pounced upon by the other candidates? He is better off staying away, and let the other candidates chew each other up. In fact, his polls may actually increase after the other candidates throw each other under the bus, as the public will have a better sense of what their voting options are.

Which other political candidates have made the same wise choice? Anyone?

What a loser! What a coward! If he can’t debate the Republicans, how will he function on the world stage? Biden hides in his basement and Trump just hides. This is presidential material. Trump’s day is done.
