NEW YORK CITY (VINnews) — Five illegals have been arrested after shocking video shows them allegedly viciously assaulting NYPD police officers in Manhattan. The brutal attack occurred Saturday near Times Square as two officers were trying to take a disruptive person into custody. Disgracefully, the men have already been released without bail.

One senior NYPD official said the men should be “sitting in Rikers” rather than roaming free.
The footage shows an officer and lieutenant telling the migrants to move along — before things quickly get rowdy as a scuffle breaks out between the police and a suspect, who is wrestled to the ground.
The other members of the group then converge on the officers, kicking the head and body of the officers.
The video shows the two officers left on the ground as the group attempted to flee. However four of the men were soon caught, and the fifth was apprehended Monday.
NEW: New York Governor Kathy Hochul is considering deporting the illegal migrant thugs who beat up NYPD officers near Times Square.

Speaking to reporters Wednesday, NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell called the attack “reprehensible” and said the attackers were “cowards.”
Chell criticized the release of the suspects, saying they “should be sitting in Rikers right now, on bail. Should be indicted this week and taken off our streets.”
Five suspects were identified as Yorman Reveron, 24; Darwin Andres Gomez-Izquiel, 19; Wilson Juarez, 21; Kelvin Serita Arocha, 19; and Jhoan Boada, 22.
They face charges including assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct and gang assault.
Four of the men were arraigned and have been released without bail. The fifth is awaiting arraignment.
One of the men, Reveron, has two open cases in Manhattan for assault and robbery.
In November, he allegedly “pushed, punched and bit” a Nordstrom Rack employee who caught him stealing an item from the Union Square store’s display rack, according to reports.
The shocking incident is just the latest example of “asylum seekers” breaking the law in NYC since migrants began flooding into the five boroughs in the spring of 2022.
More than 172,000 migrants have invaded New York over that span, with more than 67,000 still housed in city shelters and hotels.
