During the course of the attack which took place on Saturday night, the IDF killed more than 40 terrorists and captured 1200, including 85 members of the Nukhba brigade which took part in the Oct. 7th attacks on Israel. 8500 civilians left the neighborhood, trekking towards Rafah.

The IDF continues to conduct searches through the 120 buildings in the neighborhood, searching for terrorists. The IDF believes that the neighborhood has tunnels and hiding sites for senior members of Hamas, as well as possible hiding sites of hostages.

The terrorists taken into custody are assisting in giving the IDF a proper picture of the neighborhood, enabling the army to continue its operation.  It is assumed that most of the enemy have fled to Rafah and to the central Gaza refugee camps. Currently the Hamas units in Khan Younis have been defeated and are not operational.

During the course of the operations in the region, the 98th brigade has destroyed 20 km of strategic tunnels under the city. The brigade continues to operate underground and it is assumed that on some occasions it has come close to the Hamas leadership. IDF sources estimate that the “moment of truth” is getting closer for many senior members of Hamas as the army systematically roots out the tunnels under Gaza.

Tragic that we have to blur the faces of heroes so they shouldn’t be prosecuted. They world should be thanking them for getting rid of this evil!

The two front-line IDF bases defending the Gazan border are Nahal Oz and Re’im, between them there has never been fewer than 5000 soldiers 24/7, until just before October 7, when there were only 48 soldiers at Nahal Oz (22 of them new female recruits), and less than one hundred soldiers at the Re’im base.
Just days before 7/11 these bases were suddenly ordered emptied of personnel by Shabak director Ronen Bar, Mosad director David Barnea, IDF Chief of staff Herzi Halevi, Aluf Southern command Yaron Finkelman, and IDF chief of intelligence Aharon Haliva.
On October 7, these men also gave stand-down orders to the twelve thousand troops in the four ground-troop nearby bases: 1. Nitzanim base, and 2. Melakhi Junction base, both just north of Gaza, 3. Arad to the east, and 4. Nitzana on the Egyptian border. Stand down orders were also given to commanders of the air force bases Sde Boker – 6 km southeast of Gaza, and Nevatim 50km east of Gaza.

Propoganda soundbites. Playing on emotions thirsting for revenge and victory. Covering up their strategy to perpetuate conflict, and their deflection of all solutions that would end conflict. The events of October 7th and the idf response has created a dangerous wave of heightened anti-semitism around the globe, and inside Israel, where Jews are living side by side with Arabs, and violence against Jews has only worsened. ומלכות הרשעה והזדים מהרה תעקר ושבר ותמגר ותכלם ותשפילם ותכניעם
