Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove and Trump-appointed “border czar” Tom Homan were in Chicago to personally oversee the operation, which involved agencies like the FBI, DEA, ATF, U.S. Marshals, and the Department of Homeland Security.

The enforcement actions targeted public safety and national security threats, and arrests were made under new policies allowing ICE and other agencies to target individuals without legal status at “sensitive locations” such as schools, hospitals, and houses of worship.

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker expressed concerns, stating his commitment to enforcing the state’s “sanctuary” laws, which limit local cooperation with federal immigration actions. While he pledged cooperation on deportations of individuals accused of violent crimes, Pritzker emphasized that federal agents would need court-issued warrants to carry out operations.

The Trump administration is looking to expand its immigration enforcement efforts nationwide, following a directive from Bove to reallocate Justice Department resources for the mission.

US Air Force removed all mention of heroic WW2 Tuskeegee Airmen from their recruiting and training videos. Those airmen were highly decorated escorts of bombers over nazi Germany, and were great fighter pilots who had 100+ kills of nazi planes. Maybe the Air Force will be Juden Rein next.
