FBI Uncovers 2,400 Hidden JFK Files Following Trump’s Transparency Order

WASHINGTON D.C (VINnews)-the FBI has unearthed 14,000 pages of documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy that were never previously shared with the review board, despite legal obligations to do so since 1992. This discovery follows a presidential order from  President Donald Trump demanding full transparency of these records by March 9th, which now seems to have spurred this recent disclosure.

Jefferson Morley, vice president of the Mary Ferrell Foundation, which advocates for the full release of JFK assassination files, commented on the development:

“The FBI is finally saying, ‘Let’s respond to the president’s order,’ instead of keeping the secrecy going.”

However, sources indicate that despite this progress, certain factions within the government, often referred to as the “deep state,” are still pushing for heavy redactions of sensitive information. This resistance stands in direct opposition to Trump’s mandate for complete and unredacted transparency.

Many experts believe that the content of these files could potentially shed new light on one of the most hotly debated events in American history. For decades, conspiracy theories surrounding Kennedy’s assassination have persisted, fueled by withheld information and speculation about government involvement. The release of these hidden files, with or without redactions, could play a significant role in addressing or reigniting such theories.

The New York Post reports that this revelation of undisclosed files raises further questions about the extent to which key agencies, such as the FBI and CIA, may have been involved or have withheld critical information in the assassination’s aftermath.

While Trump’s order set a deadline for full transparency, it remains unclear how much of the newly discovered material will ultimately be revealed to the public and whether it will be presented without significant redactions.

The push for complete disclosure continues, with advocates like Morley calling for the release of all remaining JFK assassination records in their entirety, so that the American public may finally have a clearer understanding of what really happened on November 22, 1963.
