WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump has reportedly urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to bring an end to the ongoing conflict in Gaza and to take military action against Iran off the table, according to Israeli media reports.

In a phone call said to have taken place on Monday, Trump told Netanyahu that prolonging the war was no longer productive. “The war is running out of steam,” he reportedly said. “It’s time to wrap it up.”
Trump is also said to have tied the end of hostilities to broader regional diplomacy, including progress with Saudi Arabia and negotiations with Iran. According to the report, he believes ending the fighting could improve chances of a larger diplomatic breakthrough.
Regarding Tehran, Trump acknowledged the challenges of diplomacy but expressed optimism. “The Iranians will respond harshly at first, but not in a way that shuts the door,” he allegedly told Netanyahu.
Trump later confirmed that the phone call took place, speaking at a White House event. He emphasized his desire to avoid further bloodshed and indicated that talks with Iran over its nuclear program were still ongoing. “They’re tough at the table,” Trump said. “They want too much and don’t want to give anything up. But I believe we’ll get there.”

Bibi needs to realzie he doesn’t have all day. Trump isn’t a liberal who cares about how many Palestinians die. But the constant day in day out drag and drag is bad for optics. The wrold is turning against them. I get that it takes time. But the wrold doesn’t have pateinece. I get that hamas is banking exactly on this. Its very delciate. However, these are the hard facts.

Interesting that he says this now. Is he correlating the unrest/ mayhem in Calipornia and some other cities to the anti-Israel protests?
