SOUTH CAROLINA – At the 58th annual Silver Elephant Gala — the largest fundraiser for the South Carolina Republican Party — Sen. Lindsey Graham delivered a fiery speech on Saturday, Aug. 9, warning against any weakening of U.S. support for Israel.

“If America pulls the plug on Israel, God will pull the plug on us,” Graham told the crowd, vowing he would not allow that to happen. The gala, a marquee event in South Carolina politics, drew leading Republican figures and hundreds of party supporters.

Graham is a smart man. People like him are the reason why America went from an insignificant colony to the world’s lone superpower.
