AIRMONT NY (VINnews)-Popcorn, prime-time drama, and business strategy collided when Aaron Zutler, CEO and co-founder of the gourmet popcorn brand Popinsanity, took the national spotlight on FOX’s new reality series The Fixer.

Guided by famed entrepreneur and investor Marcus Lemonis, Zutler and his partners stepped into a high-stakes opportunity where their commitment to entrepreneurial growth and traditional Jewish values played center stage.
What unfolded was more than a pitch for investment—it became a rare, authentic portrayal of observant Jewish business leaders navigating tough decisions, seizing opportunity, and proudly representing their community on mainstream television.
“I’ve been a fan of Marcus Lemonis and his show in its previous iteration, The Profit,” Zutler told Aish.com. “Being presented with the opportunity to receive his input and direction, and the possibility of his involvement in our company, was very exciting. We thought we could really benefit from this at this stage in our business, while not being opposed to the obvious level of exposure.”
Though Zutler and his longtime business partners—President Yankey (Jacob) Goldenthal and COO Jonathan (Yitzchak) Joseph—ultimately decided not to accept Lemonis’ offer, they described the experience as invaluable.
“We wished the outcome of this particular offer was different, as we truly like and respect Marcus, and it would have been a great ending to the episode,” Zutler said. “However, as the viewers can see onscreen, our deliberations and dilemmas led us to feel this particular deal wasn’t the right fit for us.”
I remember Aaron zutler from his day’s playing music with uncle moishy and yehuda green. A real nice guy. Yankee goldenthal I remember playing the keyboard with many bands, as well as playing with avraham fried and Baruch levin in camp rayim. One particular episode I recall: I was once by a wedding in altered charna, while Yankee was playing the keyboard. I was so impressed with his music, that I asked him for his business card, to have for future simchas. He said “I’m sorry and I would love your business, but being that I was hired by this band (not my own gig…) I dont feel it’s right to give out my card when I’m playing for them”!
Such a mench. Not sure who the third partner is but it sure seems like an ehrliche group!
Glad they did NOT take the offer. That show is about lemonis promoting HIMSELF. Don’t expect ‘normal’ business negotiations from him. I used to work for a company he had on his show. The company ended up going out of business, in part as a result of the harmful drama and exaggerated infighting drummed in poor attempt to make the otherwise boring show more entertaining (or, more correctly: less unentertaining)
there is no such thing as bad publicity.
