JERUSALEM (VINnews) — One of the most horrendous acts of Oct. 7 was a phone call made by a terrorist, Mahmoud Mahdi Afana, from Kibbutz Mifalsim. Afana boasted to his parents that he was calling from the phone of a Jewish woman he had killed, and added with glee that he had killed 10 Jews with his own hands, pleading with his parents to look at his Whatsapp so that they could see the results of his murder spree with their own eyes.

Far from reproaching their son, the parents express both their amazement and their excitement at the exploits of their son and wish him well, telling him that he should come home. The terrorist then stressed that for him it was “Death or victory”, that he had come for a specific purpose – to kill Jews, even if it cost his life.
