WASHINGTON – Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) is facing criticism after posting a photo of Rabbi Shlomo Litvin on X, claiming the rabbi is connected to an AIPAC effort targeting him. Massie framed the alleged plot as retaliation for his opposition to foreign wars and foreign aid and asked followers to donate, saying, “They’re gunning for me.”

Rabbi Shlomo Litvin, a Chabad rabbi and director of the Jewish Student Center at the University of Kentucky, has no connection to AIPAC. In a response on X, Litvin wrote:
“Some people wondered why @RepThomasMassie was too much of a coward to tag me in his blatantly antisemitic post begging neo-nazis for money, while inciting hate against Kentucky’s Jews. But it’s really not surprising. @MassieforKY has been running scared for years.”
Critics say Massie is either conflating Jewish individuals with the lobbying group or intentionally misleading his audience to drive fundraising through fear and anger. Massie is also known for his anti-Israel positions and provocative statements about the Jewish community, including a recent remark that “It’s not illegal to be antisemitic.”
Observers note this post continues a pattern of Massie using inflammatory rhetoric and unverified claims about Jewish organizations to mobilize supporters and monetize outrage.
Speaker Johnson just met privately with the Kentucky AIPAC guy who’s been trying to defeat me for many years because I won’t fund foreign wars and I don’t vote for foreign aid to any country.

A reminder that @RepThomasMassie is not just the most worthless member of Congress, but also an insanely dishonest person.
Here he tries to fundraise by posting a picture of a Rabbi who met Johnson and claiming it’s part of an AIPAC plot against him which requires donation.… pic.twitter.com/lOzeWfxE2m

Mask off moment for Massie, who labeled a rabbi who has nothing to do with Israel as an "AIPAC guy."
Very unfortunate to see him spiraling like this. The once happy warrior for liberty has taken a head first dive into the gutter of hate. https://t.co/uWayee5M0S

Something great coming for klal Yisrael, Israel and the Jewish people. This tsunami of panicky Jew hatred in the world indicates fear of Jews , though the haters cannot grasp it logically.
Why ?
Because Hashem Almighty is ready to redeem Israel and they sense it and fear it. It’s from Heaven.
The side that antiSemites are choosing will shove them into eternal hell soon.
Ym”sh. And yes – AIPAC causes antisemitism… Delete if you can’t handle controversy.
