GAZA STRIP — A convoy of Red Cross vehicles is en route to a handover site in southern Gaza to collect the bodies of four hostages held by Hamas, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said.

The Red Cross will transfer the caskets to IDF troops inside Gaza, where a brief ceremony, led by a military rabbi, will honor the deceased. The caskets will also be inspected by sappers “for security purposes,” the military added.

Civilian hostages’ remains will then be sent to the Abu Kabir forensic institute for identification, while the bodies of slain soldiers will be moved to the IDF’s Shura Camp. Officials said the identification process could take up to two days.

Hamas confirmed it would release the bodies of Guy Illouz, Yossi Sharabi, Bipin Joshi, and IDF officer Capt. Daniel Perez later today.

BBC reporting heavy fighting in Gaza – between Hamas and ANTI-Hamas clan militia. At least 27 killed. Maybe Satmar can run a benefit for the Hamas casualties…
