Yimach shemuhm, but Jews should get out of there, not attend soccer matches with them as if all’s well, forgotten, forgiven.

Who cares what they do?. We just have to start showing HKB’H, the creator of all mankind, that our way of thinking is the exact opposite from their theology. We love and worry about the welfare and belongings of every person, regardless whether that person was born to a Yid or to a Non-Yid. We pray for the health of every needy Human Being, Yid and Non-Yid.
Then, we will hope that HKB”H, Broiv Rachamov, should Never-Again instigate any hate towards us. Ken Y’hi Rotzon.

Why do we continually choose to live in such blatantly anti semitic countries all over the world. Austria has benefited from the many social, scientific, cultural and financial contributions of Jews as have many other European countries and yet they continue to tolerate Jew haters. It is time we left all of these far shultene lande and combine our efforts to make Eretz HaKodesh the most prosperous country in the world.

Have you seen the 1930’s photo of the German Yid who was marched down the street by the police with sign: “i will never again ask police for help.”?

I also grew up in Vienna and live in New York for the past 40+ years (and was visiting Vienna 2 weeks ago). Vienna still has a nice Jewish community which is bigger than most other European cities (except London and Antwerp). I would not want to live there (anymore), but don’t condemn the people that do live there – they have their “Parnosse” there and they have Jewish schools, yeshiva, kollels, kosher products, bakeries etc. There are anti-Semites everywhere (including in the U.S.) and this case should be investigated; but let everyone live their lives where they choose and where it is good for them.

Rabbi Hofmeister, I hope you enjoyed the match, I haven’t Ben to a soccer match since I was in Yeshiva in Israel (Bircas) I have had simmilar experiences at a footy match in Australia, outside of the USA and Israel, not many places where you can feel safe and comfortable as a Jew, and even not that safe in all areas of both. I hope that this does not encourage you to return to Israel, and you are able to continue on in your rabinical position. but I’m sure you are well aware of the rabid hatred of Jews in Europe and cannot expect it to get any better.

    Have a Gut Shabbos Stephon.

How naive we all are. Not one person suggests that this can happen here in the USA. It is just a matter of time that at a sporting event Jews will be taunted. It is already happening here and there at tourist sites. Ask your kids.

At a visit to the Museum of Jewish Heritage in Battery Park City, I noticed a group of police cadets who were on a guided tour of the museum. The docent pointed out that during the violence on Kristallnacht, the police who are supposed to protect the citizens stood by AND DID NOTHING.

Everyone forget to mention that the top Nazi hunter, Simon Wiesenthal lived in Vienna. I could never understand why he chose to live there, in lieu of the fact that his daughter and grandchildren lived in EY.

I was standing outside a shul in upstate New York when two fellows drove by, screaming “Heil Hitler.” We got the license plate number and I personally went down to the police station, as did the rabbi. The police decided this was “free speech” and no action would be taken against the perpetrators of what anyone else would have called a hate crime.

Again I want to clarify (my first post wasnt publicized for some reason): the Rabbi did NOT go to the game. This occured near his home which is an area where many fans gather to watch football games in bars.

They don’t want us there? Let’s get out!
They don’t deserve us, or our business, or our humor, or our charity.
WATCH!!! Very soon they will be very quiet when the Muslims take over. They find it easy to curse a people who have 13 million in the world. They will find it very, very difficult to curse a people who have more than one billion in the world.
    Watch out Austria,
it won’t be 100 years from now. In less than a year you will begin to hear sharia instructions about how you should live.
