Heavy rains Thursday knocked out a pair of tracks on the commuter rail’s Hudson Line.

Spokeswoman Marjorie Anders says that as a safety precaution, Metro-North will slow trains through the area to minimize vibrations.

She says two tracks remain out of service. A third track has a 30-mph speed restriction going past the landslide. Riders should expect up to 30-minute delays in both directions.

Buses are being provided at the stations most impacted by the mudslide for riders heading north. The stations are Riverdale, Ludlow, Glenwood and Greystone.

A retaining wall collapsed at an apartment building above the tracks Thursday, sliding mud and bricks onto tracks south of the Glenwood Station.
