Israel – Ultra-Orthodox Spend Less Per Capita on Food

    Israel – A new study shows that the expenditure per capita on food in the charedi ultra-orthodox sector is currently NIS 384 a month, 25% lower the NIS 509 spent on food by the general population, according to a new survey.
    However, the average expenditure on food per charedi household was NIS 2,110, 23% higher than the average in the general Jewish population (NIS 1,882).
