Mega Million  Lotto Increases to $340 Million

The jackpot in the multistate Mega Millions lottery drawing grew to $340 million on Friday.

None of the tickets sold for Friday's $275 million drawing matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number. The next drawing will be Tuesday.

There were 11 second-prize winners in the Friday night drawing, matching five numbers to win $250,000. An additional 108 players matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.

Three California players matched five numbers, and 28 had four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. The prize amounts in California are different than in the other Mega Millions states. Besides California, New York, New Jersey and nine other states participate.

The winning numbers from Friday's drawing were 14, 21, 33, 35 and 51. The Mega Ball number was 43. [VIN]
