March 27, 2007 3:08 PM. isn’t this a PR product? How come R’ Zalmen is the only chasidishe Rebbe on this list? Aren’t there other more influential Chasidishe Rebbes than him (including his older brother…)?

Anonymous 6:18 said “Reb Aron is coming out with a Issur to read the Newsweek!”

Considering that only about 5% of aronis really read English, I estimate that if he comes out with this issur he will probably have a 95% success rate.

The question is not how one chassidus can have 2 leaders?

The real question is how a chassidus can have no leaders.

what a bunch of baloney! from R. Aron’s side! after years of using every Hollywood tactic available to them like putting out a press release the first shabos on every Little detail! and opening up the tent by boiey basholem! for the TV camera’s so everybody can see R. Aron dancing on TV! or Even just earlier this year by bringing in a Hollywood movie stage for the chupa of his daughter wedding !! where there ware four movie studio trailers parked in front of the big shull for more then a week with the studio name visible to every child or by putting out a press release this past kof alef Kislev saying how big R. Aron Is and how many thousands of people will attend and how few people Will be by R. Zalmens party
now that it helped them of !!!Toite Bankes!!! not with the court! and not with the press and best of all not with Hollywood while in the same time R. Zalmens side where conducting business quietly! now the Aroynim are crying (wolf) Hollywood.
!!! Well Aroynim to late you lost.!!!

P.S. Don’t forget the Fifty Thousand Dollars R.Aron’s people paid
to Kol Hooilom kiloi they should only call him satmere Rebe !!!

Can someone from Satmar please answer these questions. How can one chassidus have 2 leaders?

What is the fundamental difference between the 2? Does one wear his hat to the right and the other to the left?

Don’t you realize that they are both simply humans?

BTW most of these people are not goyim. They may not be frum, but they are yidden. The sinas chaim keeps the bais hamikdash from being rebuilt

maybe some of them are shomre mitzvos, but not williamsburg farfrimt.

    Anon 7:54pm
Aron’s on a list for good stuff?
Do you mean good stuff like repeatedly suing his brother in civil court.
Maybe they did not want him on their list because they were afraid of being sued, he is a chronic litigous.

i think that the biggest Hanuah that a Aroiny can have now is that his Rabbe is not on that dirty list. you can say what ever you want, but its a reall Bisha & Charpa. i cant imagine what would happen when it would be just Farkart! they Zalys would took their whole Beth Din & would came out with a Iser & Machuah against that Goiyam are mixing into Satmar. Der Yid would for sure have a few major pages to make Choizek. & much more. i think its a reall Kuved for R Aron that he’s not on this kind of list. meanwhile he’s on a list from doing good stuff for Klal Yisroel.

R’ Zalmen being one of Judaism’s most influencing leaders is definitely the result of a well organized PR team. I can’t remember at any point of time within the last year that R’ Zalmen was appearing in the news rather than R’ Aaron.

Anonymous 1:18, you are being dillusional. Calling for a boycott of Newsweek would only have a nominal effect. How many satmar chasidim actually read English let alone subscribe to Newsweek. Calling for R’ Aaron’s chasidim to stop watching Sony movies – ha, whose going to listen to that? What else are they going to do on motzei shabbos?

It is ironic that after years of R.Aron being called charismatic and a performer by his chasidim including among others having a movie studio stage at the chupa of his daughter chasene earlier this year while making fun of R. Zalmen for not being a good actor. all of R. Arons acting And preforming did not help him one bit at all!
meanwhile R. Zalmens Chasidim where saying that they don’t want a Rebe an actor all they want is peace and quiet.
    well normalcy does work!

That just shows that the out side world that dos not understand. Every one in the Chairedy world know that Aaron is more influential, with torah, with the masses, and with money , but since they think that he lost the court over Williamsburg he is less influential. Aaron is still the most influential after all.

What is the big chiddish that R’ Ahron is not on the list? The list is limited to influential “rabbonim” and since R’ Zalman was appointed Satmar Rebbe, R’ Ahron no longer has a shteller and doesn’t qualify for the list.

The big chiddish is of course the the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Melech Hamoshiach, didn’t make the list. Have we gone so low that Melech Hamashiach doesn’t even make it to #50 ?

It is amazing to see how all the Aroinim are commenting, echt baleidigt, this list is irrevelent to ANY yid, especially the Zalis…

But the Aroinim are up in arms how come their Rebbe, which they spent Millions on PR etc.

Hey guys, just like we Zalis are not celebrating you should just the same not get baleidigt, but you can’t help it, can you???

    to scy4851,
I dont think the Melech Hamoshiach would need approval from some list of 50 top most influential Rabbis. I should hope that he is above that.

Having said that it is pretty impressive that his secetary made the number 2 spot and other Rebbes and leaders are much further down the list (like number 15…)

    Anyway,

A kosheren Freilichen Pesach and may we be this Seder in Yerusholayim with Moshiach tzidkeinu (WHOEVER he may be…)!!

I wonder how they decided this list.

    Interesting…..
