NEW SQUARE – A 10-year-old girl was injured this evening after she collided with a car on Lincoln Avenue in the village.
Ramapo police Sgt. Mark Briggs said the girl’s leg was hurt during the 6:41 p.m. accident. She was taken to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla by ambulance.
“The child ran out into the roadway,” Briggs said. “She struck the side of the car, fell down and, as a result, the rear passenger wheel of the car rolled over her leg.”
The driver was not ticketed.
