Eugene, OR – A Springfield man has been sentenced to more than 11 years in federal prison for an attack on a Eugene synagogue in 2002.
Jacob Laskey, 26, who calls himself a white supremacist, admitted as part of a plea agreement that he wanted to commit acts of violence against Jews, blacks and other ethnic or racial groups, according to federal prosecutors.

Laskey and four co-defendants admitted they threw rocks etched with swastikas through stained glass windows at Temple Beth Israel while about 80 people were inside attending a religious service.
Laskey also admitted that he persuaded a witness not to appear at a hearing and encouraged the witness to withhold information about the attack, prosecutors said. [AP]
