Bloomberg joined 14 mayors from Ohio and Kentucky at the Cincinnati Police Academy, where he unveiled a new anti-gun web advertisement sponsored by his coalition, Mayors Against Illegal Guns.
The 14 mayors all added their signatures to those of 182 other mayors across the country, all engaged in the fight to get illegal guns off the streets of their cities.
The anti-gun ad calls for the repeal of the Tiahrt Amendment, which opponents say restricts law enforcement agencies from accessing data to trace illegal guns.
The two-minute ad can be seen here. It is being posted on police and newspaper websites. [NY1]
