I was walking on 20th Ave and 53rd Street when a dog (that was being walked by its owner – a woman)jumped up on me and almost bit me except the woman pulled the dog back – I was too scared to stay in the situation and report it because I thought when I saw that dog jump up that I was really in for it – It is probably the same dog and they should have it put down! NO, that child was NOT teasing the dog.

This is the second time this wild animal bit somebody.

Not EVERYTHING has to be spun against your own people.

    ENOUGH ALREADY!!

I know this particular dog. I have seen its owner struggle to keep it contained. They know they have a wild dog.

It’s not the dog – it’s the way the dog was raised by the owner. A dog, such as a rottweiler or a pitbull, needs to be raise very disciplined and very well controlled. When they are raised as such, they are very friendly and safe animals. On the other hand, if the owner of the dog cannot control the dog or abuses the dog by not feeding it and the like, then the dogs become very aggressive.

Most people who own large dogs do not know how to treat them. They need to be treated as a parent treats a child. A parent cannot be a child’s friend, but must enforce discipline. In the same manner, dog owners cannot be a dog’s friend and must constantly enforce discipline.

I have both a rottweiler and an 8 month old baby girl. The rottweiler is very well trained and plays together with my daughter all the time.

Wasn’t there a congressman recently who was proposing severe punishment for the owners of dogs that attack? Dogs generally don’t attack humans but PIT BULLS often do. Almost every news story about an attacking dog features an attacking pit bull. Anyone who has a pit bull as a house pet merits serious investigation.

not the only the dog has to be detained, the monster owner of the dog has to be arrested & charged, this lady always unleashing her dog and letting it on the loose to terrorise the kids playing in all the surrounding backyards, total negligence & reckless endangerment of the innocent small kids.
