New York – Six suspects behind a massive stolen car ring that retagged and sold hundreds of vehicles for the past eight years in Manhattan, the Bronx and Westchester County were arrested Monday, officials said.

A seventh man named in the indictment remained at large, according to the U.S. attorney for the southern district of New York.
The six men were charged with doctoring certificates of titles and vehicle identification numbers to conceal the fact that the autos had been stolen.
If convicted, the defendants face upward of 80 years in prison.[wnbc]
