Israel – Secular Are Attacking Hardai Education.

Israel – State education is in danger,” blared ads run in the last month, signed by the mayors of 15 citires in Israel. They argue that education will collapse if the Nahari Law passes.

“According to Minister Nahari’s proposal, the government and the local authorities will be forced to transfer hundreds of millions of shekels a year from the national education system to schools that do not recognize the basic values of the State of Israel, that do not teach democracy and that do not conduct the basic general lessons necessary to economics and society.”

The 15 mayors clearly stated what has long been an unsaid secret: the ultra-Orthodox schools do not teach good citizenship, they do not train their pupils to fit into the labor market, and therefore, financing these schools is a consummate waste of taxpayer money. [haaretz]

If they are taught not to steal, not to kill, not to get pregnant and have an abortion at 13, not to use drugs, I think the benefit to society is at least as high as the public school system that does not concern itself with the above trivialities.

The 15 mayors might have a point, start a private school system in Israel, pay tuitions and fundraise.

So the hareidi schools don’t teach anything of value, and would be a waste of tax-payers mula. Now wait a minute, what have the secular schools taught? That you should give up and give away my land! Olmert went to a secular school. That you should treat your parents like garbage. Not care about your fellow citizens -hence the Gush expulsion. Oh and in a recent poll if Israel joined the E.U. 90% of secular trained citizens would emigrate. So the secular system forgets to teach why jews are jews. They then lose their desire for their land and then they give it away.

So please tell me why financing secular education makes sense. According to my numbers over 4 billion dollars were wasted in the Gaza expulsion (include the value of homes, services & business-lost revenues) this is a low estimate. (4 billion= 16 billion sheks) This action made the country less secure and cost everyone a lot of money. But lets keep financing the secular method……

Oh I have this great bridge to sell. Its located in New York and named Brooklyn……

The same way we pay Taxes for a Goverment that is not loyal to the creator of the world we should recieve taxes eventhough we are not loyal to the israeli Goverment

the only reason we take money from them is because we give them money and we take back wha we give , but if we will not get Money then we should not give them any taxes
