The gang known as the “Liberty City Seven” planned to topple the US government through a series of bombings campaigns and poisoned salt shakers in restaurants and provoking gang warfare to create chaos and panic.
In the prosecution’s opening statement Assistant U.S. Attorney Richard Gregorie told the jurors how the men were planning to begin an attack that would lead to Al Qaeda-affiliated guerrillas taking over the United States. [reuters]
Were they converts to Islam? If not, why the association with Al Quaeda?
They do say that salt is unhealthy…
These weren’t Muslims.
They were Hispanics and Haitians raised as Catholics. They are the same people you hire to WORK in your restaurants, schools, markets, synagogues and homes.
According to the FBI’s latest reports on terrorism, you SHOULD be afraid of them because the biggest threat to this country right now is from South and Latin America and the Carribean.
Muslims keep much of the same dietary laws as we do. So they eat in kosher restaurants and buy their meat in kosher markets.
This is scary. I saw Muslims in a kosher restaurant in Boro Park and playing around with a salt shaker and thought how odd and dumb. I would never have thought they are trying to now poison jews when eating food.
I would suggest everyone to keep their eyes OPEN at all times and when seeing suspicious activity to call SHOMRIM and 911 immediately.
For my particular case I will call the FBI.
Sounds like they had illusions of grandeur.
