Brooklyn, NY – One construction worker is dead and another injured after falling from scaffolding at a high-rise development in Brooklyn, fire department officials said.

The accident happened around 10 a.m. at 525 Clinton Avenue in Fort Greene, fire officials said.
Deputy Chief Joseph Woznica said the construction worker had been working on the 13th floor when are large gust of wind picked up the scaffold he was standing On Wednesday morning, the Buildings Department sent out a notice to owners and contractors asking them to take precaution because of high winds in the area.
