aavruhom yehuda 12:18PM. end of Third paragraph; …There are many modern Germans who are horrified at what their grandparents did to the Jews… The only German/s I know who was horrified at what his grandfather did to the Jews, was that boychik who ended up in Nepal with the two Israeli boys, in the story that [Hebrew] Mishpacha ran about Two years ago. But, it’s still better than what the polaks YMSH”V did [and would love to repeat] to the Jews. I mean, they were oppressed by the Germans in WWII, and the only thing on their rotten mninds was how to kill [or turn over to nazis to be killed] more and more Jews.

Hitler was once an innocent baby too, and Moshe Rabbeinu didn’t want Jewish babies cemented into the walls so Hashem said let one live, and he grew up to be a rasha. And when Hashem told Shaul to kill Amalek, He meant every last one of them including the babies and the animals. I rest my case….

May be even you need wear on your clothsing sign on your arm like german people are wearing in the time of the wwll so evreyboddy see who you are even when you keep queite.

As I said before I hate the Nazis who left my parents with no family. But should I hate the grandchildren of the Nazis?
Do you Mr.politician who tells me to vote for Kucinich hate the Swissfor financing the war?
    The Austrians for providing resources?
The poles for enjoying the suffering of Jews and ignoring camps and helping round upjews?
The swedes for providing steel for german tanks?
The French?(OK I hate the French also)
The Americans for using Nazi war criminals in the space program?
The Argentines for hiding war criminals.
We can find an excuse to hate anyone.
It must be a hard job being chief of the hate police.

    So much misplaced tzidkus.

    So much misplaced rachmanus.

Anon 3:02 said it right. No one made fun of the child or their parents. Only because people mention that the german people kill our people some people get Angry. Very twist’d way to say this things. May be some people dont care for the jewish child and only worriing to sound nice for the germany people. If I love all jewish people i autumaticaly hate the german people who kill so much of the people i love. if i dont hate germans it means not impportent too me that they kill jewish babys.

    Who is Rabbi Lerner?

I am no Liberal by any means. Politically, I am somewhere closer to Conservative/Republican, but they too have a couple of planks on their platform I am not comfortable with.

    I reject any label.

I am not attacking you personally. You have a right to disagree with me. I am only sharing my opinion, that I am revolted and disgusted by all this hatred and bigotry.

By the way, I have been all over this country, and spent much time is totally goyishe areas. I never experienced as much antisemitism anywhere than I do from fellow Yidden.

An, no, I am not kidding myself. I know antisemitism exists. But the hatred of one Jew for another is worse lately. Too bad.

It wasn’t a German baby, nor were Germans involved; they were Turks.

Lets get this story staight. This building housed Turkish immigrants, not Germans. While I can understand the ‘hate’ that one feels for that country, I like others on this blog realize that a good meeda it isn’t.
The mitzva of mchias amalaik is not one of hate. In fact when Shmuel hanavi executed aggog he didn’t do it becuase he hated Aggog but becuase hashem had commanded him to do it. Lets all remember that eisav sone es yaakov. They all hate us. That is not a reason to go around and feel happy when bad things happen to them.
Have we all forgot what we learned two weeks ago when the Malachim wanted to say shira at the yam-suf? Hashem told them these are my creations too and you want to say shira?? The bnei yisroel can say shira because they were directly envolved + they were saved from them. (They were saying shira to hashem for saving part..)

Every person who went through the Gehenim that was the holocaust I am silent on this issue, but us who are two-five generations removed is this a good trait? To hate for the sake of hating? Yes, be aware that they don’t like you but not hate them for the sake of hating them.

On the same note, how many German products (cars/appliances) does the oilom have? If you really didn’t want them to function in this world you wouldn’t touch their stuff with six degrees of freedom. Yet, in BP and in Willi, KJ I see plenty of the shtaty cars that have a German emblom. This tells me that the hate that you describe here is not correct, but a massive force to bring you down.

No, Sir, it is you who hides from reality.

The reality that we are supposed to hate the people who killed 1.5 million of our children.

The reality that they would do it again if they had the chance.

The reality that to them all you wonderful bleeding hearts ready to forgive them (as if we are christians who think they can forgive someone elses murder) are all nothing but a bunch of kikes.

I do not live in any ghetto. I live in the real world, where we wait until we are zocheh to be part of mechi’as zeicher amolaik.

You, sir, live in a fantasy world.

Now hurry up, the polls close in a few hours.

Now run along little boy. Go round up all the other foolish little feel-bad-for-poor-misunderstood-new-Germany and cast your little votes for poor little Dennis.

I’m sure it will make you feel like you’ve done your mitzvah for the day. Rabbi Lerner would be soooooo proud of you!

The German Nazis may have been the core of the Holocaust, and what they did was inexcusable.

But the other nations went along and did the same WILLINGLY. If you hate the Germans, you need to hate almost every other European country.

I too come from a family of survivors, and my Rebbe, ZT”L’s family was wiped out too by the Nazi’s Yimach Shemom V’Zichrom.

I too can’t forgive the Nazis from ALL COUNTRIES, including the USA, who either contributed to the Holocaust or who stood by and allowed it to continue.

But, I refuse to hate the innocent grandchildren and great grandchildren of all these countries.

That is a lot of hatred to poison our hearts with.

This 2-year-old baby is an innocent creation of Hashem.

One of the most important things that hold Yidden apart from Amalek is that we have compassion and feelings. When we stop having compassion, when we loose our feelings, how different are we from Amalek?

When we show hatred for innocent goyim, no matter where they come from, no matter that they never harmed us, WE ARE WRONG.

Did Hashem Yisborach not create these children? Did Hashem Yisborach create them for us to hate? I think not.

I am sorry, but it is not I who needs therapy/counseling. Those whose hearts are full of hatred need it.

And see where all this hatred has gotten us. We now are a nation who hates themselves. Read the posts right here on Vos Is Neias and you will see plenty of Jews hating Jews.

We can’t keep hating others without it leading up to hating ourselves.

    This hatred is sick.

I am B’H a healthy Chassidish man who is not ashamed to say that all this hatred makes me cry.

Have you haters stopped for one minute to try to put yourself in this family’s shoes, and think about the fear, and pain you would go through to need to drop your baby from the window of a burning building.

That is what I see when I see the picture. I see humans in deep fear and pain, beyond anything I have ever experience. I feel the fear this innocent baby is feeling as he is being dropped.

If you thing my feelings are wrong, that is your right to hate as you do….. I would rather have my feelings and shed tears, than your hatred and cold hearts.

There was not ONE nasty comment about this baby.
There is nothing that makes happiness that a Turkish baby was saved and rage at the Germans yms”v for killing our babies mutually exclusive.

What IS shameful is that there are people who claim yiddin out there who can read an article about a baby being saved in Germany by being tossed out a window AWAY from the fire without feeling a stabbing pain in his heart and rage to the core of his soul over the yiddisheh kindehr who were killed by these chayos by being thrown out of windows or into fires, to name just a few of the wonderful ways these ‘people’ used to kill our children.

That is why you and I will (BARUCH HASHEM) never see eye to eye. To me every yiddisheh yingle and maidel is OUR child. You obviously have no such feelings and obviously do not appreciate that every yiddisheh kihnd is tahor v’kadosh and if we could we should sit in availus forever over our children that the Germans ruthlessly murdered.

But don’t feel bad. You are not the first self-loathing liberal Jew.

Now run along and cast your vote for Dennis Kucinich.

And your type will be outside picketing against the RBS”O with LETA (Liberals for the Ethical Treatment of Amolaik).

The only one of them getting any rachmanus from me will be the poor guys who fall into the hands of a bunch of briskers who shecht each one of them repeatedly to be mechavain each time to zecher, zeicher, al mitzvas michi’as amolaik, al mitzvas mechi’as zecher amolaik, zeicher amolaik, limchos zecher, limchos zeicher………..

No one is asking us to forgive what a nation, culture or continent did to us. But part of “buchar bunoo meekul amim” is having rachmonos on people, all of whom were created bitzelem elokim. While Islamofascists take delight inliterally ripping the heart of yidden and battering the faces of yiddishe kinderlach literally beyond recognition, we do not take delight in killing others in self defense, or even when Hashem’s creations go horribly awry. We say only a partial Hallel on some days of Pesach because we don’t take full delight that our Egyptian oppressors met a horrible fate in the Yam Soof. No one is asking anyone to love or even forgive Germans for unspeakable crimes against humanity, but there is something wrong with you when your heart is harder than Paro when you sneer at the fate of an innocent baby.

To be honest, when I first saw the pictures and read the headline, I was in tears. Then I saw the comments and I am in more tears, crying for what happened to the Am Kodosh that we have lost the ability to feel.

    February 5, 2008 12:18 PM

To be honost, when I first saw the comments about good the germans YM”S are at throwing children out of windows I moved to tears of joy that our people have not forgotten one drop of yiddisher blood these chayos ra’os spilled and are still waiting eagerly to see G-d take His revenge.

But then i read this last comment and I cried even more knowing that a person with such a krum kup has somehow managed to pass himself off as mezaro shel avraham avinu. It is scary to think that some kasher mishpochah out there might c”v unwittingly make a shiduch with this person’s children.

I have taught my children that any Jew who does not feel utter revulsion, disgust and overwhelming anger and rage at the sight of the word German is muchzok to have problem yichus and should never be allowed to marry into our family.

We should be waiting every second of our lives to be allowed the z’chus of seeing the final mechi’as Amoliak bimhairoh beyomainu.

I am appalled to read these responses.

We Americans did horrendous things to the Native Americans that we found in The New World. What would you say if this happened in NY, and an Indian in Oklahoma saw the article and photo of a NY couple throwing their baby to safety, and made remarks like, “Oh, they thought they would get more for the whole baby than just for the scalp.” or some other hate-filled remark.

Yes, we all know what the Nazis did to our parents and grandparents. It was truly horrific. But, many of the people living in Germany today, in fact the vast majority of them had nothing to do with that. Many emigrated from Turkey or other countries to Germany. Also, there are many modern Germans who are horrified at what their grandparents did to the Jews.

This is an article about a family of human beings trying to save their baby. Can you imagine the fear and pain in their hearts at the time of doing this?

These are people, human beings that Hashem created.

If we have God Forbid lost the ability to feel those fears with them, and understand what they were going trough, and show compassion for other human beings, what have we become?

To be honest, when I first saw the pictures and read the headline, I was in tears. Then I saw the comments and I am in more tears, crying for what happened to the Am Kodosh that we have lost the ability to feel.

Not a stupid comment at all!
Germans WERE known for throwing babies out of window. Only in THOSE cases the babies never survived!

I hope this family stems from Germans who had the zechus to have a nes like this happen to them. Otherwise, I would like to see ‘yad Hashem’ frequented more in OUR cirlces..
