Rabbi Ephraim Padwa, urged the strictly Orthodox community not to back plans for a local eruv that would cover the Charedi strongholds of Stamford Hill and Stoke Newington in North London.
The Union has long opposed the use of the five-year-old North-West London eruv, arguing that its boundaries fail to meet the requirements of Jewish law.
In a handwritten letter, Rabbi Padwa was adamant: “Nobody should get involved with establishing an eruv here in our town.”

But a group of activists are trying to draw up plans for a similar facility for the 20,000-plus Charedi community in Hackney and Haringey. [thejc]

Anyone who goes to the goyim to try to oppose an eruv because he doesn’t approve of it is a true sonei yisroel. It’s like in the middle ages, when rabbonim in Paris had a thing against the Rambam, so they ratted him out to the authorities, and the Mishne Torah was burned publicly. Then the gemorah was burned publicly and they realized they were being punished for their actions (as we read about in one of the kinos on tish’a be’av)

These @”3 bandits” as anon calls them happen to be the world’s biggest mumchim on hilchos eruvin and have set up eruvin all over the world. They were the ones who built the eruv in Yerushalayim and still manage it till today UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE EIDA HACAREDIS !! THey also built the eruv in Boro Park- Kensington and golders green and are Bez”h continuing with there holy work and set up tthe eiruv in stamford hill to the chargin of local and worldwide apikorsim and tzdoikim who dont agree with hilcos eruvin, being the fact that there hashkofos differ from those of chazal and the torah

Rav Padwa had better talk to the heads of the Eida Haredis in Yerushalayim. It was their people who came to NW London to shore up the “eruv” of Rabbi Ehrentreu and it is they who will be brought in to Stamford Hill. Most likely the same people with money from Hendon and Golders Green who have used their money to sow such strife in our community will try it again in Stamford Hill.
