The reporter Mahmoud Taha said that some tribesmen deliberately teased him and threatened him outside the Amran Criminal Court today over reporting the murder and the prosecution process.
In a press release on the incident, the chief editor of NewsYemen and Abwab, Nabil al-Sufi, condemned the assaulting of Taha while neutrally doing his duty as a journalist. Al-Sufi held the Yemeni Journalists Syndicate responsible for defending press profession in the country. He also held security authorities responsible for the life of Taha and for any threat against NewsYemen which is committed to the press law and consciously covering events.
Security apparatuses in Amran should deal seriously with threats against journalist Mahmoud Taha or his family, said the release.
Dear Government of Israel,
Let’s get our brothers and sisters the hell out of there. This is not like we stay in the neighborhood of certain part of town, no, this is pikuach nefesh!
On or two transport planes would do it.
Show us you care.
It’s just like some Jews in Iran. I don’t know why they want to stay and live in Muslim Countries?
I wouldn live in Israel myself, so I understand that they refuse, but what about those who got offered to live in the States or Europe?
Life in the USA and Europe is surely better the in those Islamic countries!?
I wouldn’t be able to sleep one night knowing that there are hundreds of Muslims in the village who want and can kill me.
What a dreadfull thought.
As an old Eglish saying goes “A penny for your thoughts”.
