The things we see in the video are animals and just a bunch of pigs. At about 6:58 inthe video you see a cop pushing back a hamas supporter but kissing him on the head and telling him to move back. So the cops are also corrupt there?

If this happened in NYC the police would have taken these pieces of garbage and locked them up in the slammer for threatening people and other laws which was broken.

Ft. Lauderdale is not as you write such
“a peaceful city”. About 20 years ago, we were driving from Orlando to Miami, and our car broke down in Ft. Lauderdale. We went into a 7-11 store to try to get some assistance, a man came over to my religious-looking husband and told us that he would drive us to the closest airport to pick up another car, but we should “get outa here quick” because the “locals do not like the Jewish people”. He later told us that he himself was Jewish.
    Antisemitism is rampant all over!!!

Big whoop. By and large, these protests are attended by the riffraff who have nothing better to do than attempt to draw attention to themselves. What were the Jews trying to accomplish there exactly? All they accomplished is to egg the other side on. Better to stay home and study Torah, do chessed, or pray.

My fellow jewish brothers, unfortantly every 60-70 years kelal yisroel goes through a persecution. This is well documented in history books. We are now in the begining of a new persecution that will take place in form of terror against us around the world.

I have been saying this now for the last 10 years. America WILL become what Europe has already become, in terms of a Muslim Dominating country. It will take a little longer than it took in Europe but as I said it will happen here as well (al pi derech hateva).

It’s extremely frightening to see how the Europeans have let the terrorist Muslims roll into their countries and basically destroy it and CONTROL it. Make no mistake about it. They are in total control over the European people and its leaders. They are afraid to confront them and to put them into their place. These bigoted murderers voice their goals clearly & without any consequences. Not only don’t they suffer the consequences, they are still being catered to.

AND THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING HERE!!!

You can see these terrorists gaining momentum and power each & every day here in OUR NEIGHBERHOODS. They are picking their heads up every day more and more. And they are gaining Political Power as well. And the regular “goy” on the street is sympathizing with them as well.

It’s a very scary situation and we’re living in EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TIMES. I hate saying this, but the situation today is like pre WWII. And I’m not a pessimist I’m a REALIST.

Again – al pi derech hateva – they will take over the world. We need TREMENDOUS s’yata dishmaya and rachmei shomayim to withstand these times.

#5 I couldn’t but fully agree with you. this is a message from above that we’re getting too comfortable in galus and forgetting our reason or being here. NO, don’t get me wrong i’m not a mussar movement nor a neturei karta, but realistically looking we don’t needa be blind and stubborn to see this. I also keep’n telling myself that it’s like pre WW 2. I just hope and pray This is the final stroke to golus and Moshiach’s arrival will be here very shortly without suffering. but meantime we must remember this is a sign from Hashem.

The concluding statement by the narrator, that had the police Not been there when the Palestinians came toward the Jews there MAY have been trouble is a gross understatement. I was there, we were out numbered, and the Palestinians wanted very much to ratchet things up a notch. We were less than 3 minutes from pushing, shoving punching and kicking ( or maybe a lot worse) breaking out. I am Not a coward but had it been known that the police were Not going to be there, there’s no way I would have chanced it.

It’s amazing what the world can see from this video. The people are animals. Filthy mouths, and wanting to get physical. Hasn’t America learned? They have hate in their hearts and would stab a Jewish person at any given opportunity. I hope mashiach ben david is on the way, or we’re in for some BIG trouble.

    To #3
That must have happened over 20 years ago. I have lived here in Broward County (the county where Ft Lauderdale is) for over 20 years.
And even then, that man must have been a bitter person.

Back then, Most of Broward County was non-Frum Yidden, with Frum neighborhoods only in Hollywood. Many of the non-frum were retirees.
It has changes totally during the last 20 years. Now we are a county of young Jewish families, getting more and more frum couples every month.

Now there are Orthodox shuls in the following Broward neighborhoods:
    Ft Lauderdale
    Hollywood
    Davie
    Coral Springs
    Inverrary
    Margate
    Coconut Creek
    Pompano
    Tamarac
    Plantation
    Cooper City
And this is all from the top of my head. There are others too.

Though the above sound like, and are technically, cities, they can be looked at as similar to Brooklyn Neighborhoods. Just like Boro Park, Flatbush, Williamsburg; we have Inverrary, Coral Spring, Ft Lauderdale, Hollywood, etc.,

This is a very Jewish Friendly place to live. Just like in Brooklyn, the less desirable neighborhoods here used to be solid Jewish (smile)

A good percent of the politicians here are Jewish, as well as police officers, etc.,
I live in Inverrary. Each year during the last 5 or 6 years we are getting NEW influx of YOUNG couples into our kehilla. We keep the mohels busy here. (lately, there seems to be a bris every week )

The weather is GREAT. The cost of living is GREAT (as compared to NY). A 2-bedroom townhome, less than 5 years old, can be bought here for about $120k, EASY walking distance to 2 shuls and both a men’s and women’s mikvah without crossing the street
Condos here are available under $60.

A 3-4 BR pool home goes here for under $300!!!!!

I have experienced LESS anti-semitism here than in Brooklyn.
The thing missing here are stores with Chassidishe clothes. Perfect excuse for a trip to Willi.

Multiple shechitas are available here, so take your choice. We have Cholov Yisroel, both Chabad and Hisachdus, as well as other shechita.

We have Yidden from all backgrounds:
    Yeshivish
    Modern Orthodox
    Chassidish
    Chabad (both flavors)
    Teimani (Yemen)
    Israeli
    Morroccan
    Yekis
and any other group you can think of

My shul has ALL of the above in it, and we get along!!!! We have Chassidim: Satmar, Vishnitz, Chabad, Breslov, all getting along wonderfully with each other as well as with the Mod Orths, the Yeshivish, and all the rest.
In my shul we have shtreimelech and vasser zokin getting along with Kipot serugot.

Sure, there is a small pocket of Palestinians who live in one of the yuckier neighborhoods. They go to college here. We usually get along fine. They are a very small minority, as compared to us.
This Hamas thing may be sparking protests around the world, as the press is, as usual, making Israel look bad, but don’t for a minute think it is bad for us here.
Sure, it is golus. But until Moshiach comes, I can’t think of a golus I would rather live in.
Hey, tourists are spending thousands of dollars to visit here for 1 week. We live here.

Though, of course, as Jews we side with Israel’s actions, we must also realize that in the eyes of the Palestinians who love abroad, they only know what they read in our newspapers and on TV.

They see their brothers and cousin’s bodies as “murdered” by the Israelis. That is how the American press shows it. Though many of them ARE embarrassed by the terrorists from their own side, and are mostly peace loving people themselves, it is hard to not understand that they are feeling the pain of their brothers getting killed.

I know one Ft Laderdale family whose grandfather moved them here about 30 years ago. Why? Because he felt the Jews were their best friends and “cousins” and he could not tolerate the conflict between them. He did not want his children and grand children growing up hating the Jews. So he moved his family to FLORIDA. They are good people. Many are like that.
But, when you see Palestinian dead bodies on TV mutilated by the attacks, how can they not get upset? If it were reversed, we would be protesting just as strongly.

And, even in this video, though some of the words were painful to hear, these people were in control, and rather peaceful in their demonstration. They did NOT try to overpower the police. We did not have dozens of police cars. Maybe one or two! These are law-abiding citizens expressing their frustration in a land of free speech, just as we do.

These savage beasts need to be taught a lesson they will never forget, in the only language they really speak – violence.

Unfortunately the “civilized west” is to soft (and afraid) to do what’s needed to rid the world of this Islamic cancer that’s showing it’s ugly head in all corners of the world.

When we finally realize that there is a problem it will probably be to late to stop it.

The Palestinians living here in the US are not the ones who are terrorists.
Just like not every Jew is a ganef like Berni.
Just like not every Jew is a child molester like Mondrowitz.

We have our bad, and so do they. But, if you group them all together, blaming all of them for the acts of a minority among them, then you are doing to them what others do to us. Actually worse, because most goyim to not go around saying that “All Jews are child molesters.” or “All Jews are theives.”

So, don’t say, “All Palestinians are bad.” or “All Palestinians hate the Jews.”
For that simply is not truth. That is hateful.

That they may feel hurtful pain when they see their “landsmen” killed, only makes then normal, feeling, emotional people, like we are.
What do they see on TV?
They see Israel bombing their residential neighborhoods, killing children.
They see Israel bombing their Islamic University!

What can ANY Sane person expect after we bomb the Islamic University?????
Do you expect them to love us for that?
What was our reaction when one of their terrorists killed our buchurim?

To them, this is the same. Sure, we don’t see it that way. But we can at least understand how they see it….. Or, have WE lost so much of our humanity that we can’t understand other people’s pain.

If you know what the word means, do a short study of the DEMOGRAPHICS of the USA. They are growing in numbers much faster than we are.

Lo loftach peh lasatan, in the 1930’s the yiddin were encouraged to stay in Poland. They were told not to try to get out. Most of you are too young to remember this bit of advise: Poiland = Poi Lin. We’ll be safe here ad biyas goel tzedek.

Bli ayin horah there is still time to turn things around here. Demonstrations are good, but daven mincha first. That is what will determine the success of your rally.

Time to stop living in everyon e else’s face. Anyone impressed with your Lexus or Caddy (mit latest upgrades, leatheren seats, custom made mit a pur cherry lights) is not worth impressing. Ditto for all the other public displays of wealth. See what the chofetz chayim writes in mishnah berura about what causes aivah from the goyim. See the kli yakar on parshas devorim on the pasuk ‘pnu tzefona’.

Then ask your LOR, whether he is YI/OU or Yeshivish/AY how may lectures and shiurim there were at this year’s conventions and how many of them dared tell the ba’alabatim how to live like a yid in galus.

While you are at it, ask them why the conventions have to be in the finest hotels with FressFests four times a day.

(Don’t bother trying to insult my galus mentality. I am rather proud of it. That is how gedolai yisroel have lived and behaved dor achar dor. I am not at the madraiga of the mud on their boots but at least I know that they were correct.

Show me the chofetz chaim’s crystal, the Ba’al Shem Tov’s mansion, the Satmar rebbetzin’s mink, Rebetzin Feinstien’s 5 ct. eternity bracelet, reb Aaron Kutler’s Caddy.

I don’t know how many hits a day VIN is getting these days. If everyone who reads this demands that their rav, rov, ruv, rabbi, admor, rosh yeshiva, chacham, etc explain why they never say anything about the way we are driving sonaihem shel yisroel in MBs, BMWs, Acura’s, Lincoln, Lexus’s to the next massive tragedy, lo alainu, c”v we can still turn things around.

Forget the frumkeit of living the right way. Think selfishly about the safety of living the right way. Lets not turn around in 2045 and say why didn’t the rabbonim lead us? Why did they keep telling us we are so safe, where we were, as we were?

I am, by nature, a very loving person! I care about people and respect others faiths and ways of life!
But slowely I start to think that there is something wrong with the religion of Islam and those called Muslims that follow it!
Over the last years, each time one hears of war or terror, there are always Muslims involved. They seem to be a bunch of intolerant bigots, threatening any and everybody that does not believe in what they do.
To see a women, even that she knows that she is being filmed, shout “you sould all be put into a big oven”, is just unbelievable! On top of that most of those pro-Israel guys were Christians!
Sadly I am afraid that, like here in Europe, Islam is going to finish intimidating the Government and, in the lose future, take it over.
People worry about Scientology or the Mormons wnting to take over the world, but nobody sais anything about Islam.
Should any religion take over the world, of the three mentioned, I think we should go with the Mormons! At least they love Peace, Jews, Gentiles, and one can have more then 1 wife ;-).
I feel that the whole world, Christians, Jews, Bhuddists, Hindus, Taoists, etc… should come to realize on the threat the world has come under, by the Muslims, and just stop dealing with them. Who needs their oil? We certainly don’t! Who needs their religion? We certainly don’t! Who needs to speak Arabic? We certainly don’t!
Instead of calling for imbargoes etc…on Israel and the like, we should do it to the Saudis and Iranians and Yemenites and Iraquia, etc… They are only well off because of us! We buy the oil of them and they also sell us Islam with it, as a freebee!
We are smarter then that, so just let’s forget about them.
Ship them back into their countries where such behaviour wouldn’t even be tolerated.
Give us our peace in the west! We don’t want Islam we don’t want violance!

#27 , I am #3, and I appreciate your feedback. I am truly thrilled to read about the thriving Jewish community there. Just a point, the Jew who drove us away, was a kind-hearted man, who went out of his way, to get us our of a neighborhood which he felt could be a danger to us. He was not a bitter man. He did a good deed.
But it certainly is nice to hear how Jewish-friendly Ft. Lauderdale is now. I did not mean to be hurtful.

From a security standpoint, its vital that others know that you carry.. say g-d forbid terrorists open fire in front of a shull.

Now, there are 2 scenario’s.. say someone runs in screaming terrorists and pandamonium breaks it which could cause others to run out.. or prevent you from runing out.

Say your davening, guy / kid comes up “fast terrorists outside” throw off talis, pull gun out. run and shoot them dead.

The new yorkers here will say “oh trying to play hero” fact is, a terrorist can kill a few hundred people before the cops show up.. the merkaz harav terrorist fired 600? rounds..

Okay already, I can’t stand all this crying. In my opinion, anybody that flees their country to come to America because they feel persecuted in their country or are looking for a better way of life, should not be protesting here about what’s happens back home in their native country. My advice to them is, go back to their country and fight for change and do what ever it takes to make their country a safe place to live and a place they can be proud of. I suggest they stop hiding behind the USA like little kids hiding behind their mothers skirts while they shout names at the local bully. Peace and freedon does not come without sacrifice. Go back to your country and make a differance there. Organize, fight and yes die if necessary, because that’s what it takes to be free.

This protest was organized by ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End
Racism). ANSWER’s steering committee includes IFCO/Pastors for Peace,
Free Palestine Alliance… ANSWER’s steering committee consists of organizations from the Filipino, Haitian, and Latin American communities.

ANSWER has faced criticism for its affiliations, its tactics at
demonstrations, and for its Anti-semitic sentiments expressed by
    demonstrators at its protests.

The Anti-Defamation League has accused ANSWER of supporting
organizations characterized as terrorist in Latin America as well as
    Hamas and Hezballah.

According to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency “Several anti-war protests in San Francisco organized by the ANSWER Coalition featured anti-Semitic imagery and slogans including the burning of the Israeli flag and chants of support for Hezbollah as well as Nazi slogans and salutes”. The Stephen Roth Institute has noted “Anti-semitic content
    has marked ANSWER events.”

This protest was organized and led by ANSWER’s State Coordinator Emmanuel Lopez, who admitted to Fox News reporter “that there is a problem with anti-Semitism within his organization’s ranks”. A bit of an understatement, in my opinion.

ANSWER is not a Muslim or Arab organization and its members do not speak on behalf South Florida Muslims or Arabs (who shun ANSWER).
