Jerusalem – ‘Shloshim LaKedoshim’ Event To Remember Mumbai Kedoshim. [replay video]

    Jerusalem – Last minute preparations are underway for the massive event ‘Shloshim LaKedoshim’ that will take place tomorrow at 10:00 am EST (5:00 pm Israel time). Over 100 Gedolim and Rabbis are expected to participate, including the Gerer Rebbe, Harav Shmuel Wosner of B’nei Brak, and the Toldos Avrom Yitzchak. Jewish leaders from all affiliations and walks of life are expected to join together at this event. Tens of thousands are expected to attend.

    The event was organized by a committee established by Agudas Chassidei Chabad in Israel, headed by Rabbi Yosef Y. Aronov. Businessman R’ Chaim Yaakov Leibowitz is also a main organizer.

    Called “shloshim Lakedoshim,” it will take place on the eve of the day we mark the shloshim for the victims of the terror attack in Mumbai – The Shluchim Rabbi Gavriel and Rivkah Holtzberg, HY”D, Rabbi Aryeh Leibish Teitelbaum, HY”D, Rabbi Benzion Kroman, HY”D, Yocheved Orpaz HY”D and Norma Swartzblat Rabinowitz HY”D.

    Anyone who is a Jew – meaning if your mother is / was a jew or you converted to Judaism you’re invited to attend. Chasidish, Litvish, Sefardish, Mizrachist, Conservative, Reform – you name it!

    well the yetzer hora tries tricks again noo live feed but we prevail! we always doo its a shame that the last time something like this has happened was 200 yrs ago in the times when chassidim and the litvakim cheifly Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneersohn “Tzemach Tzedek“ (3rd rebbe) and Reb Yitzchok Volozhiner (son of Reb Chaim Volozhiner) joined ranks to fight against assimilation

    its interesting to see that at any event that praises achdus you can find the nikolsburger, and you will never see his name signed or his speech said where there’s machlokas involved.
