He’s facing drug charges, a custody battle, and now, a power struggle with his own father.

The overseer of a $500 million property portfolio was arrested in October after Yonkers cops stopped him for erratic driving and found cocaine, oxycodone and hundreds of Valium, Xanax and Oxycontin pills in his car, according to a 17-count indictment handed down last month.

Days later, ex-wife Allison went to court, seeking full custody of their two kids.

While Hadar tried to sober up – spending 30 days in a Pennsylvania rehab and 60 days in a Columbia Presbyterian Hospital treatment program – his father, Richard, ran Allied Partners, his real estate empire.

But when Hadar completed treatment on Jan. 3 and returned to work, his mogul dad refused to yield the helm of the firm, which owns Citigroup Center and has a big stake in the company that controls Manhattan real estate brokerages Brown Harris Stevens, Halstead Property and Feathered Nest.

Richard Hadar claims it wasn’t until he took over Allied Partners that he “became aware of significant problems with Eric Hadar’s management,” according to a lawsuit he filed against his son on Feb. 11.

Hadar alleges his son abused employees, was habitually absent, and used company funds to renovate his Manhattan apartment and sprawling Bedford Hills home.

The son claims in his own Feb. 5 lawsuit against his dad that his father “feigned support” during his rehab stint. Eric Hadar has asked a judge to force arbitration of the management dispute.

“I love my father very Much, and this has been a difficult situation,” Hadar said. “I hope and expect that it will get resolved.”

This mishpucha has been blessed by HKBH to succeed in business and I read here that they give tzeduka to frum charities. Therefore, the whole kehilla is mechuyev to be mispallel that the son have a rafuah shleimah and they continue to be matzliach. They must be Yidden with a good lev. And a refuah to the Satmar Yidden who are also involved with drugs. This is a machlah in our whole kehilla. Don’t think otherwise.

    We must be mespallel?
Why exactly? Because they have money? And the poor guy is fine?
If someone is on drugs let him enjoy it, I do not think there is anything morraly wrong with drugs, aside the fact that the usa goverment decided to ban it for unknown reasons.
