Robin Katz, 25, worked at the bank’s Midtown headquarters. She created a second ATM card for the customer’s account, then slowly siphoned off thousand of dollars from June 2008 through June 2009, when the client discovered the missing funds, according to a criminal complaint.
She told investigators that she needed the money to pay rent on her Manhattan apartment and skyrocketing personal bills.
After the client realized the missing money, Chase notified the New York Police Department’s Financial Crimes Task Force. Officers arrested Katz in New York. The card and several withdrawal receipts from the account were found in her wallet.
Katz pleaded not guilty to charges of grand larceny and identity theft and was arraigned. She was being held on $50,000 bail. Her next court date was set for Thursday. Her Legal Aid attorney did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
According to Katz’s page on Facebook, she graduated from Smith College in Northampton, Mass.

Greed is an equal opportunity attacker.

Taking $110k at such a young age is quite a feat. I wonder that she’ll be able to do once she has more experience in banking.
