The pontiff says concentration camps are a symbol of the “hell that comes to earth when man forgets God and replaces him, usurping his right to decide what is right and what is wrong, to give life and death.”

The German-born Benedict was forced to join the Hitler Youth, and on Sunday was remembering two saints who had died in concentration camps.

He was speaking to pilgrims gathered at the Castel Gandolfo papal retreat for Sunday’s traditional Angelus prayer.

Does he get a blessing on his head for this? Yidishe organizations are asking his permission to try to find jewish children (now adults) lost to Christianity during the war to give them the choice, the chance to atleast know who they are, that they are children of kedoshim, yet he still has to “think” about it. Mabe he’s waiting for this generation of children to die, and then the pope of that time (Moshiach should be here sooner) will “regret” this pope’s (by then already dead) mistake, and verbally say something similar… about this evil…
