The airline said Wednesday that pass holders will be able to fly to any of JetBlue’s 56 destinations between Sept. 8 and Oct. 8.
Customers must book the pass by Aug. 21.
Pass holders can book travel within three days before a desired departure date. Taxes are not included in the deal, and a $100 change or cancellation fee applies.
“No shows” for flights will incur a $100 fee, and the pass will be suspended until the fee is paid.
JetBlue’s frequent fliers will get 35 TrueBlue points for buying the pass.
In addition to the 56 cities JetBlue serves in the US, Mexico, South America and the Caribbean, the discount carrier will add service to Baltimore on Sept. 9 and to Barbados on October 1.
Wow! This is innovative!
This idea is great for anyone who flies in this hemisphere often.
Taxes ARE included for domestic travel, just not international travel. See their web site.
This is a full of balony scam on jet blue’s part.
I had a jet Blue america express credit card that gives a free flight anywhere after accumulating 100 points. There were NO blackout dates on this plan.
My husband and I had 2 accounts and had numerous free flights.
No matter when we tried to get a free flight it was never available, only if we paid full price.
After calling numerous times, and speaking to many managers, we were always told that there is a limit on how many free flight they will put on a plane.
So we told them that there ARE actually blackout dates and they insisted there are not any. So why can’t we get our free flights?
The same will happen with this new scam………….There will NEVER be flights when you want it.
We have since cancelled our credit cards and have not used jet blue since ……..
Good luck to all you out there trying to get free flight……..
Sounds good but you have to fly a few times that month in order to make it worth your money.
this is not the first that this idea has been around . about 30 years ago alegainy airlines which is now us air had a simmalar type of premotion a 14 day ticket for three hundred and ninety nine dollars and you could only visit each city once.
Unfortunately, the time period includes a lot of yom tov.
Why did’nt they have this deal when I was single?
WOW !
Does this include room and board ? then i can eat and sleep on the plane for 30 days and between flights i can tour the cities. This is much cheeper then any hotel, motel or even restaurant. Can I choose to get kosher meals ? then I plan on going for a 30 day tour around the united states.
Is there family plan only single or if i wanna fly with family of 5 would it be the same price.
hey they should have done this in the summer month i would have planned numerous travel vacations then maybe.
Question for #3
In the $29.99 extra for the 300 friends and family – is that in addition to the 100 in the base rate or is it just the additional 200 for a total of 300?
They are doing it during the “Slow” time if year during September and October. This is a way for them to fill their planes which are going out anyway. Eastern Airlines did this back in the 80’s and it was a big success.
As for number 12’s post. i have used 6 free tixx in the last 3 years. I would say I had a 95% success rate in regards to the flights I wanted. As with any frequent flyer tickets, you have to book somewhat far in advance. There may not be black out dates, but if they only set aside 3 seats a flight, then you must scoop them up early. It is not a scam. You just have to play the game!!
Would rather still fly my four times a week and relax in the rcc club and relax in my first class seat as jet blue does not have!
How could this be profitable? I could understand unlimited standby flying for a fixed price per month, as the seats would have gone empty otherwise. Unlimited reserved seating on flights for a month? I don’t get it.
