At 1:30 in the afternoon, children from the various neighborhoods of Flatbush and Borough Park arrived at the Bobov beis midrash on 48th Street in Borough Park.
The event began with Mincha, followed with the recitation of Tehillim and a special prayer for the sick among am Yisrael.
The moving scene is repeated every year, organized by the Misaskim organization and brings anyone who witnesses it to tears.
May Hashem send a ‘refuah shleimah’ to all the sick, protect us all, May we all be sealed in the Book of Life, and Hashem bring Moshiach speedily in our days.

this is great
i hope this should never be neede again
but if they do they should add tzedakah and a mishna
then they will have
torah tefilah and tzedakoh
3 pillars to break down all barriers to rachamei shumayim
maybe we never need it and may klal yisroel have a happ and HEALTY new year
Very nice and heartwarming, may their tefillos protect us.
It is extremely painful and heart-breaking, to see R”L a sick innocent child, regardless of which nationality he happens to be.
No-where in Tenaach do find, such strong words of Rachmonus, from Hashem, towards infants, as in Maftir Yonnah, regarding Ninveh, which was NOT a Yiddishe city.
We should never exclude anyone, Yid or Non-Yid, from our Tefillohs.
Do we want HKB”H to say,: “Don’t they care about the well being of all My children”? .
Whilst I applaud this idea and action, and hope the tefillois of these Tinoikes are heard, surely the article should read “the health of sick Jews in Israel and the World”
May Jews the world over have a Refuah Shleimo and a Gmar Chasimma Tova
this is amazing ! may god help us ones in for all
this is gevaldig….titsku l’mitzvas
This is a beautiful event! Very moving. Any way to get more communities involved? I would love if the kids from crown heights joined this.
My daughter participated in this via phone hook up here in cleveland. So special.
what a kiddush hashem, great job by yanky meyer
I say chilul hashem didn’t let bobov 45 come to the shul that’s a big kitrig in himel
wow I’m really impressed…i was just wondering how come schools and yeshivahs around the world didn’t do this as well…i think that Rabbonim around the world should set a time and day to do this…as well as Kollel men and just stam all yidden…wishing everyone reading this a gmar chasima tova along with Moshiach
My son’s Yeshiva in the 5 towns (Yeshiva Ketana of Long Island) also participated. I imagine other schools did too, not just in BP.
My son’s yeshiva participated in this event, and he came home feeling loftier than ever. If this doesn’t hasten the coming of Moshiach, I really don’t know what will.
Hearing all those children say Shema, sent the chills down my spine. I can now better imagine how Yidden through all the generations yelled out Shema when they knew they were going to be killed during times like the pogroms, the Holocaust, etc….
they had one in antwerp too
Did the bal tfilah say HUEIL HAKUDOISH instead of HAMELECH Hakudoish? and NO ONE Told him?
In light of # 10’s sad point of view that Tefilohs of thousands of Yiddishe kinderlech invites a “kitrig in himel”. I pray that their innocent, politics-free, tefilos deliver him a speedy recovery for all his ailments.
Wonderful, very impressive. But I expected them to have done this for the brave Israeli soldiers who fought in Aza six months ago.
Shlomo Zalman, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory? Instead of tossing a “but” into this wonderful and heartwarming deed why not share with us your deeds for the “brave Israeli soldiers”? This way readers can contemplate on two uplifting stories rather than dwell on one undue criticism.
