Etzion Neuer, ADL New Jersey Regional Director, issued the following statement:

“This vicious assault came on Rosh Hashanah, a time ordinarily marked by solemnity and festivity, and the timing makes this senseless and brutal crime particularly galling. We congratulate the Edison Police Department for their swift action in apprehending the alleged perpetrator. Our community will not stand for such brutal violence, and we have complete confidence that the matter will be investigated fully by the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.”

The victim was treated for a concussion.

The League has long been at the forefront of national and state efforts to deter and counteract bias crimes.

The Anti-Defamation League, founded in 1913, is the world’s leading organization fighting anti-Semitism and other forms of bigotry through programs and services that counteract hatred, prejudice and bigotry.

If this jewish youth would have carried a pistol as the great Rabbi Mayer Kahana used to say “for every jew a 22” and would have shot this nazi in the head, incidents like these would have happened seldom.

One is allowed to carry a nail file on yom tov, I believe. Just thrust it into the goy’s eye or throat. Self-defense is not only legal, but is a normal, rational response to an attack. Why do we always merely say “oy, oy, oy” instead of talking to the goyim bil’shonom (in their language), with a physical response?

#3 – try reading up on hilchos muktzeh. A pistol is definitely muktzeh, and if there’s no eruv you shouldn’t be carrying anyway. There’s also the issue, “The voice is the voice of Yaakov but the hands are the hands of Esav.” Do you really want to sink to the level of the people you despise? If you really feel nervous, go train in some martial art like Tae Kwon Do or Karate.

And even if you had a pistol, what are the chances of actually hitting the attacker? Ask any police officer – they’ll tell you how hard it is to be accurate under stress, and just what the chances are of killing or injuring an innocent bystander. What if you missed the criminal and hit a child? Think before you get too macho.

Why isn’t the attacker’s name and address being published?

ADL? Abe Foxman? Does anyone here know of anything concrete they have done in defense of the Jewish people? Oh, yes, now I remember. It was August 1991 in a place called Crown Heights. And then there was their courageous attack on Mel Gibson. Snipped anti-semitism right in the bud they did. Take a look at Abe’s autobiography for some insight into this sycophant of the Catholic church. It will also make you wonder about the people who pay his salary and fund his useless organization. Have you ever heard of ADL launching a strong and unapologetic campaign in support of the Jews in Eretz Yisroel? Just what is it exactly, they do with all of their money beyond once in a while wringing their hands in public. Feh! The moral of the tale is don’t wait for your self-designated leaders, go out and defend yourselves. Make that goy’s face serve as a warning to anyone who might be contemplating beating a Jew as compensation for his own pathetic inadequacies.

I carry a .357 S&W on Shabbos. It’s not muktzeh because I set it aside before Shabbos for the purpose of protecting me and my shul members from the on-going threats around us.

I think ADL is provoking more violence than preventing it by their extreme militantic stands and outbursts.
