Staten Island, NY – In a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Borough President James Molinaro slammed her call to investigate the funding of groups against building a mosque near Ground Zero as “nonsense,” and invited the California Democrat to begin such probes with his opposition to the proposal.

“You want an investigation – please start with me,” Molinaro wrote. “You’ll find I am not running for re-election and that I have no other motivation than to see my community heal as much as possible. Or, perhaps you should start by investigating the parents whose children were forced to jump to their deaths from the burning towers. Ask them who is funding their opposition.”
In his letter, which was dated yesterday, the borough president said he is one of those asking the proposed mosque be moved to a less-sensitive location, and vowed he and the community he represents are not motivated by “Islamophobia.”

Mr. Molinaro is a good man…and is 100% correct in his comments. The speaker of the house is a horrible person…what does it take to get her out of there?
