Woodmere, NY – A man was shot repeatedly during a would-be robbery in North Woodmere on Wednesday night, Nassau County police said.

The 39-year-old victim was standing on Flanders Drive when vehicle pulled up next to him, a man got out and asked the victim for his property and then shot him multiple times at 8:13 p.m., police said.
The victim was airlifted an area hospital where is listed in stable condition.
