Port Authority spokesman Chris Valens says a Megabus driver was issued a summons following the incident at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday.
There were passengers on the bus at the time.
One person was taken to a hospital as a precaution. Another reported an injury but refused medical assistance.
Valens says the 40th Street ramp was quickly cleared.
A Megabus representative did not immediately respond to a comment request.
