Honolulu – President Barack Obama completed a “symbolic” signup for a health insurance plan under the Affordable Care Act over the weekend in advance of Monday’s deadline, the White House said.

Obama chose a “bronze” plan in the Washington, D.C., exchange. But like previous U.S. presidents he will continue to receive health care from the military.
Earlier on Monday the Obama administration said it has extended for an extra day the deadline for Americans to choose health insurance plans on the HealthCare.gov website to ensure coverage starting in January.
Symbolic?
Why doesn’t he sign up properly? Oh wait – he doesn’t need to as the 47% of us who paid taxes last year are already paying for his insurance.
If only all of us would be able to do a ‘Symbolic’ Signup – it’s insulting that the president would do something like this. Obama can play the game but we have to face reality. No good…

In a compromise with congress he had to exempt all of congress (including himself) from this plan
Did he also his premiums and copays went up while his choice of providers went down?
Of course not! The reason being that like much of anything done by the socialist liberal democrats this is symbolism over substance. Obama had NO reason whatsoever to do this and he will no reason to do this for the rest of his life.
