It’s the latest challenge to Florida’s ban on same-sex unions.
Daniel DeSousa and Scott Wall married in New York last year and legally changed their last names to Wall-DeSousa through the Social Security Administration.
Daniel successfully changed his driver’s license in Brevard County, but when Scott tried there, he was told that his marriage certificate wasn’t a legal document in Florida. Scott tried in another county and succeeded.
The couple said when they went public with their new driver’s licenses in an interview with an Orlando television station, they received a letter from the DMV saying their licenses had been cancelled.
As if anyone who reads VIN cares about this nonsense. Don’t we have more important things on our minds then to read about two sick perverts trying to get some attention.
Something to think about, especially if you vote for today’s version of Democrats; most of these laws that harm society are a result of extreme liberal Judges, legislating from the Bench. They are appointed by the same people you routinely vote for. Therefore, the very thing you complain about is caused by votes such as yours. There are consequences beyond the little benefits that are used to bribe your communities.
When the majority culture of the US is mean and nasty to a minority, I would suppose a lot of VIN readers would wonder who is next on their list.
