North Charleston, SC – Michael Slager, the officer who shot and killed North Charleston, S.C. resident Walter Scott in a shooting last week is heard laughing and talking about his adrenaline pumping in a new audio clip.

Slager, 33, is heard having a discussion with a senior officer just after the shooting April 5, reports The Guardian (http://bit.ly/1ykb4w0).
The senior officer is heard telling Slager, “By the time you get home, it would probably be a good idea to kind of jot down your thoughts on what happened. You know, once the adrenaline quits pumping.”
“It’s pumping,” Slager replies, laughing.
When Slager asks, “What happens next?” the senior officers tells him that he’ll be taken to police headquarters.
“Probably once they get you there, we’ll take you home. Take your crap off, take your vest off, kind of relax for two or three.”
“It’ll be real quick,” continues the senior officer. “They’re gonna tell you you’re gonna be out for a couple of days and you’ll come back and they’ll interview you then. They’re not going to ask you any kind of questions right now. They’ll take your weapon and we’ll go from there. That’s pretty much it.”
“The last one we had, they waited a couple of days to interview officially, like, sit down and tell what happened,” he said.
The recording also partially picked up a cell phone call Slager received before his conversation with the senior officer. A ring his heard, followed by Slager saying, “Hey. Hey, everything’s OK, OK?” Following an inaudible section, Slager then says, “He grabbed my taser, yeah. Yeah, he was running from me.”
Slager was charged with murder April 7 after a cell phone video was given to authorities showing him shooting 50-year-old Scott eight times in the back as Scott ran from him. The video contradicted Slager’s claims that Scott took his taser.
Why not investigate cops who shoot unarmed people right away?
Why give them a chance to sort through their minds, and come up with stories?
Why is there a double standard, when it comes to ordinary people they pull them in in the middle of the night hoping to get an addmission, but with Police officers, they wait for days, purposely.
