In Díaz’s weekly “What You Should Know” email, he claims that his wife, Leslie, was offered a position with Comptroller Scott Stringer’s office, which was quickly rescinded two days before her start date after the comptroller’s office received a video showing her with Senator Díaz at a demonstration opposing same sex marriage.

“You should know that the equal employment opportunity laws of the State and City of New York mandate than an employer cannot discriminate in hiring because of sex, color, race, nationality, religion, sexual preference, etc., etc.,” writes Díaz.

“You should also know that Scott Stringer, who is the Comptroller of the City of New York, has been criticizing and examining the conduct of other people, and has been preaching about “Tolerance” without recognizing his own intolerance. Mr. Stringer has been using his office and public funds to screen out those not in favor of same-sex marriage, denying them employment in his office, violating the law and discriminating against people of faith who reject marriage between same-sex people,” he continues.

Díaz says that Stringer “should learn a lesson in ‘Tolerance’ from Governor Andrew Cuomo,” who he says offered his wife a job despite their differing views on same sex marriage and despite the fact that Díaz himself  has criticized Cuomo and endorsed Rob Astorino in the last election.

Díaz writes that Stringer, “should learn how to abide by our laws that reject employment discrimination against people because of  sex, color, race nationality, religion, sexual preference, etc. “

America is a crazy place: you have freedom of speech but if you use it you will get fired or not hired. Saying that homosexuals are perverts is almost against the law. Never mind that G-d has said so, you are not allowed to say it.

Who is more perverted than Americans? Could be coming soon in Israel!

The only reason the politicians, etc. agree to ‘Same-Sex Marriage’ is to curry votes. They care little about the couples, neither their health nor happiness. The term ‘marriage’ was also distorted…caring little for the English language. ‘Ye olde ‘Yetzer Hara.’

Its a crazy world, but if you know something is a hot button issue and can cost you your job, just keep your mouth shut.

This is a very serious issue. If the right body finds he violated, he should be reprimanded officially and punnished according to the law. Stringer should suffer the consequences.
