Police were called to the neighborhood following reports of dozens of locals gathering around a uniformed soldier passing by, shouting at him.
Officers who arrived dispersed the crowd and escorted the from the area. During the dispersal, a stone was thrown at one of the policemen.
“The police immediately launched a thorough investigation combining targeted intelligence, and within a short time all the findings produced the identity of one of the suspects,” the police said.
Last night, a 29-year-old resident of Jerusalem was arrested and brought for questioning by the police.
The suspect has been released to house arrest. Police will appeal the decision today.
Why cover the face of that perpetrator, and why was he released under house arrest? He should remain behind bars; how long will these attacks on the IDF, by these extremist lunatics be tolerated?
Lock him up
He should be treated like any other terrorist attacking a soldier . Israel has caved in to the extremists and it’s time for the normal population to purge this corruption
You guys are scary. He’s a suspect. He hasn’t been convicted. We don’t even know what he may have done. Probably was something pretty minor. Do you know if the soldier was there to provoke. They often do that. And remember that the hostility to soldiers is because the military threatens to draft Charedim which is a violation of religious rights as the military is no place for Charedim. The government is the one that is out of line. You pounce on this guy like a pack of anti-semites because he dares to go near one of your precious soldiers, your idols.
coward, this is all a result of the welfare state and these lazy bums.

If it can be proven he should sit
To #18 - ENGLISH (not Yiddish), is the language of the United States of America. It is incredible and astounding that there are people of different nationalities and ethnic backgrounds, who have lived in this country for 50 or more years, and still cannot speak or write proper English. When my Grandparents (of blessed memory) came to America in the early part of the 20th century, they had to learn English, in order to pass the written exam, in order to become American citizens. Then, that test was not given in a foreign language. One doesn’t have to go to Harvard or Yale to learn how to write proper English. There are adult education courses which are given in the evening, where you can enroll to improve your writing skills.
How very unfortunate that the fellow seems able to walk under his own power.
