The cause of the fire at the Adas Israel congregation, a traditional synagogue in Duluth, was unclear, according to local news reports. It appears to have destroyed much of the building.
Firefighters responded to the fire at the Adas Israel Congregation about 2 a.m. Monday and finally knocked it down about four hours later. At daylight, spectators could see the charred remains of the synagogue with some structural walls still standing. Duluth Assistant Fire Chief Brent Consie said the building “is pretty much a total loss.”
There was no immediate word from fire officials on what started the blaze.
The synagogue has 75 members and daily prayer services, according to the St. Paul Jewish Federation.

So, sad. If there is a fund to rebuild please post details. Praying that no one hurt.
Just read on the Duluth news tribune website that the torahs were saved. Unclear if they got water logged or not. Sad.
Seems at least half of them are OK. The local paper has a nice photo:

Aren’t you getting the message?
COME TO ISRAEL! THE USA IS NO LONGER THE GOLDEN MEDINAH!
It’s not perfect here but it is THE LAND OF ISRAEL GIVEN TO US BY G-D!
My first thought was arson. Would anyone be that surprised if it was? Gd forbid it was but a rarely staffed it attended synagogue in a smaller town would be an easy target for a fire Bomb or just breaking in and starting one. Synagogue shooting are occurring in smaller communities why would arson be surprising. It is coming. Already happening in Europe, churches are burning from their peaceful Salam immigrants
Minnesota imported tens of thousands of potential Somali Jihadis and this may be a result Gd forbid. A number of Minnesota Somalis have already been arrested or killed going to fight for isis et al. Thank Gd for President Trump limiting immigration from countries that have a population predisposed to supporting isis et al.
To date, there has been no definitive proof that arson was involved. Old buildings (including houses of worship of all denominations) go up in flames, from time to time. Many of those structures do not have sprinkler systems installed, either. Let people stop making unfounded and unsubstantiated allegations, regarding motives or criminal activity, without any proof!
