Over the course of the years I was privileged to help many girls from colorful backgrounds, some coming from Haredi school system, to pursue education in technology and after that find a job in the field. Even if they did not have enough high school credits in science related disciplines, they were still able to successfully pursue tech education. It might have taken another year of intensive preparation but it is totally doable. I finished math in the 8th grade of my high school, not because this was Haredy system but the music and arts high school, so they didnt think we need science beyond certain point. My own experiences helped me realize that this is all possible. The glass ceiling is not always something that is put out there by others, sometimes we create it by ourselves, and that should not happen.

This should be a non-story. There should be thousands like her. The fact that this is even a news item shows how inept our education system is. Did Anybody care to write about the Open miracle about the other 24 women ?
