CROWN HEIGHTS (VINnews) — A young Jewish man was nearly a victim of a drive-by shooting on Atlantic Ave on Wednesday evening.

The man was driving on Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn at approximately 7:30 PM on Wednesday when the shooting occurred. In a terrifying turn of events, the bullet struck the front passenger side window of his car. Thankfully, the bullet actually hit the rubber lining above the window, which caused the glass to shatter, but prevented the bullet from going straight through the window.
Another bullet also hit one of the car wheels, puncturing the rubber.
The shooting left one victim with multiple gunshot wounds in the leg. The victim is expected to survive.
