JERUSALEM (VINnews) —After MK Tamar Zandberg’s (Meretz) law proposal for operating public transporation on Shabbos was voted down by a majority of 56 to 23, she proposed a new law which in a sense helps the public observance of Shabbos in Israel

According to Zandberg’s “vengeful” proposal, government issued cars would not be allowed to be used on Shabbos. Ministers and anyone else issued a government car would not be allowed to drive that car on Shabbos. if they have a personal privately owned car, they could drive that, but not the one issued from the government.

Zandberg explained that the Ministers should show responsibility and set themselves as a personal example to the public and let their government issued cars sit idle on Shabbos. These cars are financed by the public, and if the public can’t have public transportation, on their rest day and on holidays, the ministers should not have this type of public transportation either. This would lessen the inequality, she says.

Zandberg added that the law would include a clause allowing it to expire if public transportation would in the future be allowed on Shabbos, ” a decision which would reduce social inequalities and help thousands of citizens who do not maintain a private car including senior citizens, students, youth and the deprived.”

She does have a very valid point. Why is the government paying for the someones chlul Shabbos? I assume if its a government issued car they are doing government work on Shabbos.

She’s making a very fair argument.

Zionism’s goal was and is to replace Judaism with a godless Gentile Nationalist nation.

So, to the Zionists, Shabbos (and the rest of the Torah) is, at best, a relic. There is nothing Jewish about Zionism other than those Jews who are part of its identity theft of all that is holy to Hashem and the Jewish people. So the insistence on the Zionist State keeping Shabbos (or any halacha) is almost comical, except that it serves the purpose of fooling some other Jews into worshiping the Zionist idol.
