Opinion: Harris at the Debate; the Iran Deal and More. She’s Wrong and Dangerous on Everything

The media wanted us to watch the vice president debate through some gender – race lens. Cliché and surface-level, but predictable given that they and the Democrat Party (redundant) want to distract from the fact that the substantive policy and ideological differences between Pence and Harris are stark. Pence believes in our exceptional country: The Constitution, liberty, limited government, individual responsibility, equal opportunity, a strong national defense, to name a few. Harris believes the federal government should dictate all aspects of our lives. She’s for single payer healthcare, ending energy independence, higher taxes, open borders, the Green New Deal, gun control, chaos on our streets, suburban zoning and more.

The bottom line: Pence is for Americanism. Harris is for dismantling it. Pence shined as the qualified Vice President he is. Harris displayed she’s not fit to be vice president or president—recall her “Harris administration” slip of tongue.

Harris was misleading, condescending, and dishonest. She repeatedly refused to answer whether she supported court packing. But last year? Harris revealed, “I am open to increasing the numbers on the Supreme Court.” She told a reporter she was “absolutely open” to packing the Supreme Court. Biden also obfuscates. “You’ll know my opinion on court packing when the election is over.” Excuse us, what? And when a reporter asked, “don’t the voters deserve to know where you stand …,” Biden retorted, “no, they don’t deserve …”

Harris weaved a tale about the SCOTUS vacancy before the 1864 election. Lincoln didn’t fill the seat because the Senate was out of session when Chief Justice Taney passed. May sound like no big deal but the audacity of Harris looking into the camera and schooling millions with a lie well-illustrates Harris disrespect and contempt for the American people.

What’s shocking and existential is Harris’ ignorance about foreign policy. Harris said at the debate that Trump’s shredding of the Iran Deal left America “less safe” and lets Iran build up a “significant nuclear arsenal.” Ah, Kamala, here are the facts: Obama-Biden negotiated the dangerous “deal” with Iran, the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism. They actually paved a clear path for Iran to get nuclear weapons and handed over a reported $150 billion to Iran, plus $1.7 billion in cash on pallets in the dead of night. A win-win for Iran. Stellar negotiations, Joe.

Was Biden in a basement back then while Iran was chanting “death to America” and “death to Israel?” He must’ve known how bad the deal was because even his NSA Advisor Rhodes admitted he’d lied to “spin” the deal, setting up a “war room” and “echo chamber” to get Hill and public buy-in to the deal.

Is it possible Harris has no clue Iran engages directly in terrorist activities, funds Shite-backed militias in Iraq and Nigeria, Al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah and other proxies, and that American and Israeli blood are on Iran’s hands? She doesn’t know Iran vows to decimate the Jewish state or that the State Dept. lists Iran as the world’s largest purveyor of terrorism and anti-Semitism and that its brutal to its people? Has she not seen a world map to understand Iran’s development of inter-continental ballistic missiles are to reach a country on another continent, i.e.: The United States?

Enter President Trump. He shredded the Iran deal and re-imposed severe, crushing sanctions. Iran’s economy is suffering, curtailing its ability to fund terrorist activities around the world. Terrorist leader Soleimani, responsible for hundreds of Americans (over 600 in Iraq alone) and coalition force members deaths and the wounding of thousands more, is dead. (Biden opposed Soleimani’s killing.) Trump’s leadership and diplomacy have resulted in historic peace deals between Israel and the UAE and Israel and Bahrain with more expected, further isolating Iran.

But Harris and Biden will re-join the Iran deal and turn on the spigot of billions flowing to Iran. They’re okay with Iran’s top commander, Salami, saying recently about “Little Satan” Israel, “this sinister regime must be wiped off the map.” What do you think Iran wants to do to “Big Satan” America? Biden-Harris seemingly aren’t worried.

It’s up to us to worry because Biden-Harris foreign policy and national security decisions will be a disaster. Recall the words of Obama-Biden’s former Defense Secretary Gates about Biden, “I think he has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.” Slam.

Is it any surprise the mullahs in Tehran are rooting for Biden-Harris to win? Not really: Trump will never compromise our national security and will continue to shut down Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Biden-Harris will rehabilitate Iran, cave to any new demands, and Iran will be back to its deadly business.
