Rabbi Firer: Israeli Gedolim Recommend Vaccination ‘For Those Who Have The Option’

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Rabbi Elimelech Firer, the famous Chareidi medical advisor whose advice is sought by tens of thousands of people in Israel, published an announcement in which he quoted the Gedolim in Israel as saying that “whoever has the option of vaccinating should do so.” Firer stressed that there was no danger in the vaccination procedure.

In his announcement, Firer said that he had been asked by the Gedolim “to investigate and examine the vaccine being offered against coronavirus” and that after “investigating and checking with appropriate responsibility” he presented his findings to Rabbi Chaim Kanievski, Rabbi Gershon Edelstein and Rabbi Shalom Cohen. After they examined his findings, Firer said that they agreed to state in their name that “whoever has the option of vaccinating should do so” and added that “the experiment was conducted properly based on all conventional parameters in the world of medicine and it proved that there is no danger in receiving the vaccine.”

Firer added that those who suffer from allergies should consult with the family doctor as to how to receive the vaccine. Moreover since the experiments were conducted on people over the age of 16, those under 16 who wish to wait for others of their age to receive the vaccine can do so.

According to Israel’s Channel 12, a shipload of 300,000 more vaccines will arrive in Israel Wednesday in addition to the 313,000 vaccines already in the country. By the end of December some 3.8 million doses will arrive, which can be used for about 2 million residents. The vaccinations will begin Sunday and will probably start with medical staff and residents of retirement homes.

Oh no! What are we going to do! This vaccine coupled with 5G, that will sterilize all of us! How can the Gedolim say it is safe when Big Pharma is out to destroy humanity. Boo hoo!

The Halachic scholar Farrakhan came out AGAINST the vaccine today. So you can follow his diktat. Good luck with that.

A kol korei has gone out within the last day or so advising people against taking any of the Covid vaccines. An image of the notice can be found online but has been removed by at least one major social media site. It will no doubt hopefully surface though elsewhere). It was apparently signed by the following rabbanim and unless these rabbanim come out publicly to refute this, there is little reason to doubt the authenticity of their opinions and signatures:
Amshinov’er Rebbe, in the USA
Harav Eliyahu Dav Wochvogel, Rosh Yeshiva Zichron Moshe, S. Fallsburg
Harav Malkiel Kotler, Rosh Yeshiva, Lakewood
Harav Shmuel Kamineski, Rosh Yeshiva D’Philadelphia
and Harav Shmuel Meir Katz, Dayan and Morah Tzedek, Lakewood
Also, it is doubtful that Harav Kanievsky, shlita is actually in favor of any of the Covid vaccines as well, as he has come out in the past against forced or coerced vaccines, and it is likewise understood that he is also not a strong believer in their efficacy generally.

since there are two sides to this, some say like Firer to vaccinate now, and others like R. Asher Wiess say to wait 3 months to see what happens with those who get the vaccination, I think for the elderly, it is a s’fak p’kuach nefesh, so better to be strict and not put one’s self in a danger.
